PRINCE EDWARD COLLEGIATE INSTITUTE
Hilary held three workshops in Radio Announcing in April, teaching Grade 11 and 12 students some of the fundamentals of on-air work. Hilary was on-air with CHOM in Montreal, Quebec and CBC Radio in the Maritimes for over 25 years, and taught Media Studies at Loyalist College in Belleville, ON for 22 years.

BLOOMFIELD SANTA CLAUS PARADE:
Hilary attended the Bloomfield Santa Claus parade Friday, Nov. 29 -- dressed as a lobster! She conducted a draw to benefit the Loyalist Humane Society and raised $50. The winner was Brian Hudson of Kingston, who went home with a copy ofSomething Fishy.
Last year Hilary did the same thing with her book, All is Clam, and raised $50.

A good turnout to hear Hilary and her guest readers, John Henderson, Geoffrey Cudmore and Lynn MacKenzie read from Something Fishy and answer some FAQs about writing novels.
Hilary hosted the Ontario launch of Something Fishy, the fourth book in The Shores, series at Loyalist College, where she spent 22 years as a Professor of Media Studies. Some of her students were there to cover the event.
